more production...

production... from front to back: myself (director/producer), chelsea roberson (director of photography), alyssa moran (grip & production assistant), kyle dismuke (audio mixer) © 2007

we are still in production on the film... we have one more weekend left, but everything is coming along quite nicely. on saturday we shot at a local house, but we were unable to finish... one of the first things that you learn in film production is that nothing ever goes as scheduled during a day because without a doubt - something will go wrong... whether the camera gives you trouble, the lighting takes longer to setup, or in our case - the boom pole for the shotgun microphone breaks (well.. it didn't break it just came undone and we couldn't get it back together... lol)

this is a photo of a dance scene... (oh no they will prob sensor this!! lol jk) © 2007

this is a still from one of the scenes in the film. © 2007

i am uploading a few stills from the production... i will give you a synopsis later once we announce all of that stuff on the website, etc.
if any of you are interested in film and video production you should e-mail me... this project is tons of fun and we are all working together to create a finished product that will hopefully be something we can all use to put in our porfolios or even just say, "I was a part of that" someday... it is a huge undertaking but we are all working together to make it happen. this is the first large-scale production we have done at harding and i am proud to be a part of it.

if you are interested in going into communication (broadcast journalism, film video & television, interactive media, advertising, or public relations) feel free to e-mail me and i will try to answer your questions and if i can't - i will get you in contact with another student that can... it is different talking to students in the actual fields because we will tell it like it is... lol.
