matt's blog (harding senior)

sorry for the delay

so yes, i know it has been forever since i have written on here and i appologize for that. i have been extremely busy.

ok so to get down to business, i said that i would let you know about the dorms and stuff like that... basically i will tell i have experienced and what i have heard from my sister about the girls' side of campus:

guys: you are basically stuck choosing between armstrong and harbin as freshmen. unless you know someone that is a sophomore or higher you cannot live in the other dorms. (i recommend living in these even if you do know someone because you will get to know your class a lot better) harbin is older and slightly wilder and more fun and has community bathrooms... if you like clean bathrooms i don't suggest this dorm - but it is still tons of fun from what i hear... (i chose armstrong) armstrong is a suites dorm, where every two rooms have an adjoining bathroom. the dorm was recently renovated and has new furniture... back when i was in it, the dorm was still okay, but now it is pretty nice from what i hear.

girls: yeah i don't know that much but i do know that my sister chose sears because it is supposedly more fun and has bigger rooms. all of the girls dorms have their own bathrooms too btw.

i cannot think of anything else - oh yes - don't be fooled when any school tries to tell you they have good cafeterias... i have visited other schools and they are all run by aramark which equals sucky food... sorry. (sometimes it is really good, and yes, there is a chick-fil-a and other places too with good food right around the corner!

if you have any other questions, e-mail me at mhewes@harding.edu...
